Motorola A835

Description: 
The A835 is a UMTS terminal, more precisely, a Dual Mode WCDMA 2100 - Tri-Band (900/180/1900 MHz) GPRS. It also supports two-way videotelephony. It has a colour display of 220 x 176 pixels and TFT (65,536 colours), and a fixed, integrated digital videocamera.
Its weight is quite high, equal to 160 grams in 135 cc of volume. On the back of the terminal there is a polyphonic speaker which allows you to reproduce polyphonic ring tones and audio files in the formats MIDI, MP3, WAV, and AAC, as well as use the terminal in speaker mode.
Its integrated Bluetooth and integrated A-GPS module allows you to receive localisation services such as directions and addresses of the closest restaurants, bars, and cinemas in an immediate and extremely easy way.
It also supports Synchronisation ML with TrueSync software, able to communication with the PC via RS232, USB, IrDA and Bluetooth. The integrated Dual Mode WAP browser is available in version 2.0, for accessing mobile Internet WAP on WML sites, but it also supports XHTML, HTML, CHTML.
It also supports J2ME technology via GSM and UMTS. and MMS messaging. With the integrated videocamera it is possible to record films or take photographs to then send to another compatible cellular phone or to an email address. The formats supported are JPEG and MPEG4.
There is a Video/Audio Playback/Streaming player which allows you to download videos and play them in real or deferred time in MPEG4 protocol, as well as, thanks to the Microsoft Video Player, in the formats AVI/ASF. The available memory is 256 MB non-volatile.
The standard LiIon battery of 800 mAh is about 140 minutes in conversation in WCDMA mode, and 250 hours in standby.
